Chisangano Appeal: Closing Date
The Chisangano Appeal will close at the Church service on the 19th of April. This has been an extremely successful appeal over the past year in raising both funds and awareness about the village of Chisangano in Malawi. The funds have been used to pay for the refurbishment of teachers’ homes in the village without which education in Chisangano would be markedly curtailed. We will be joined by Neil who has coordinated and managed the funds as we have sent them to Malawi and, along with members of the One World Committee, we will have a presentation to show what has been accomplished. There will be a retiring offering at the close of our service if anyone would wish to make a donation.
After church we are planning to have the cutting of a cake to mark the close of the appeal along with tea and coffee.
