LONG SERVICE CERTIFICATES: 923 YEARS OF COMBINED SERVICE!
Today we held our Family Service of Celebration in The Church. It was a delightful service, where the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, Rt Rev Rosie Frew presented Long Service Certificates to elders on our Kirk Session.
The elders being presented awards had amounts of service ranging from 30 years to 53 years, totalling up to 923 years of combined service, which is incredible.
After the service, we headed to The Cornerstone for a celebratory lunch – with speeches from the Moderator and David Pollock, our Session Clerk.
