The Girls’ Brigade in Scotland
We are a Christian inter-denominational organisation operating throughout Scotland. Membership is open to girls and young women from across the social and economic spectrum: from all faiths or none and from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds. Our motto is to ‘Seek, Serve & Follow Christ’.

The 1st Bishopton Company of The Girls’ Brigade
The Company meets from September to May. Each week the girls do a variety of badge work, fun activities and games. We also take part in divisional competitions and trips. In May we have our annual display/parents’ evening at which the girls receive the badges that they have worked hard for throughout the year.
We meet in The Cornerstone on a Thursday night, starting from 6.30pm.
On our first night back after lockdown we had had 19 girls across all ages taking part. We would love to see more young girls taking part in our fun orientated and character building activities.
